Yesterday we paid our respects to and celebrated the life of the legend, the man, the myth & for me the big bruv (in-law) Neil Boyden. I've never attended such a packed funeral with 40+ people standing and I loved all the stories & photos shared.
I remember his weekly cinema trips and how we'd discuss films, music and TV at length. We were lucky to eat many of his (& Lisa's) roasts.
Neil always made us laugh and had some of my ifavourite phrases: such as "that's not my department" and "we in the trade". We used both extensively and often inappropriately.
Andrew & I are grateful to have had him in our lives and for the chance to see his friends and our family. Extra love goes out to Lisa, Bethan and Dom, xxx

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
